
DBH Resources' Wrap-Up Administration Services
A wrap-up insurance policy is purchased by a contractor or developer, and covers every construction participant in a project under one protective insurance "umbrella." DBH Resources carries the Program's administrative workload by providing a wide range of services. The following is a list of duties we perform during this time-consuming process.
- Provide wrap-up Orientation Manual to builder.
- Obtain insurance coverage binder from broker to obtain coverage, limits and insurance carriers.
- Conduct wrap-up Orientation Meeting for builder and appropriate staff/project managers.
- Perform review of builder's contracts and provide recommended language to reflect the existence of a wrap-up insurance program for incorporation by builder's attorney.
- Produce tailored documents to builder to use in a builder's bid packages to subcontractors to disclose/explain the nature of the wrap-up program.
- Produce wrap-up Insurance Manuals tailored to each project for distribution to subcontractors.
- Receive Subcontractor Award Notices from builder through wrapup.net.
- Send Announcement/DBHR Introduction Letter, wrap-up FAQs document and Insurance Credit Worksheet (if applicable) to subcontractors.
- Answer inquiries from subcontractors regarding wrap-up program administration.
- Perform daily follow-up calls to get Insurance Credit Worksheets from subcontractors.*
- Analyze insurance rates provided by subcontractor to determine premium contribution.*
- Answer questions regarding insurance credits and premium contributions.*
- Negotiate premium contribution with subcontractor and request signed Insurance Credit Confirmation once agreement on amount is reached.*
- Send Insurance Credit Confirmation to subcontractor for signature.*
- Provide Certificate of Enrollment to each subcontractor with copies to builder and broker.
- Provide builder with educational forms regarding wrap-up Insurance Requirements along with "Notice of Incorrect Insurance Template" to send to subcontractors to request proper insurance endorsements.
- Provide on-going support and advice during wrap-up administration.
*Duty is performed only if DBH Resources is providing Premium Allocation services for the project.
